Self-Defense Training in New Orleans
Incendiary Training Services offers practical self-defense and personal safety training for individuals, community groups, apartment complex residents, and organizations throughout Greater New Orleans. No prior experience is required. Our certified instructors teach situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and hands-on defensive techniques designed for real-world situations. Training is delivered on-site at your workplace, campus, church, or community organization, and we bring all necessary equipment.
Why Self-Defense Training
Our self-defense training is built for real-world scenarios, not competition. The techniques are simple enough to retain under stress, they do not depend on being bigger or stronger than the other person, and they start well before contact, with recognizing a situation early and leaving it.

Group Workshops
We deliver on-site group training throughout Greater New Orleans and can accommodate groups of any size. Groups we train include:

Looking for a Women-Only Class?
We also run an ongoing women-only class in Metairie, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your first class is a free evaluation class. Women's group workshops are also available. See women's self-defense classes and workshops.
Who Leads the Training
Incendiary Training Services was founded by Afton Johnson. She is IKI-certified through Israeli Krav International and holds a B.S. in Public Health. She has trained civilians, corporate teams, and law enforcement for over a decade. Our team includes MDTS-certified instructors.
